Over a weekend a while back I attended this fantastic two day event on Protocol and Power Exchange put on by KinkEd Atlanta. While I myself am not big on protocol or power exchange (specifically M/s dynamics) I did come out of the weekend with some new ideas, things to think about, and having just spent a great weekend with other interesting kinky people.
The conversations that weekend were lively and enlightening. I sometimes feel like I do not have a lot to contribute because the way that I kink is frequently different from a lot of people in the room, but I did feel like I had something to say that weekend and was happy to participate.
Topics discussed included how to do a one-off service dinner date, contracts, tea service, and operant conditioning (scent training). I didn’t learn anything new per se, but did get a different view into some things. I’m always fascinated by how other people structure their experiences and dynamics.
